Sycamore Evergreen - Black Labrador Retriever and Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in Andover, Massachusetts

This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Roughly 90% of our dogs are successfully long distance adopted and 10% adopted locally.

Meet Sycamore Evergreen, an approx. 6-week-old Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix, weighing approx. 8 pounds (as of 6/5/26). The EVERGREEN litter and Lily Momma Evergreen were surrendered by their owners after police intervened for neglect. They had a rough beginning, but are excited to have their happy ending with the best family in the world: yours! Sycamore even wrote his own bio:

"Hey hey! I'm Sycamore! The coolest of my litter. No, really. All eight of them voted me the coolest sibling and I take that distinction with a lot of pride. I'm energetic, fun and can instantly make everyday so much better (so I've heard). I love playing with toys, rough and tumbling with my siblings, but at night, I like to relax and cuddle up next to you. Maybe play some smooth jazz?

I'm also very popular with everyone I meet. I haven't met cats or kids yet, but I'm sure I'll charm them too! My mom is about 65 pounds and my dad's MIA, but I assume I might be around mom's size when grown. I haven't been spayed/neutered yet, but I will be when I'm a little older and it's closer to adoption. As I grow, I'll be looking for a family who can help me with all things puppy training: potty, leashes, crates, etc. In return, I promise lots of tail wags, sweet puppy serenades, and lifelong devotion because you deserve it all you hard-working, beautiful person, you! The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
