Pickle is a 3-month-old, 11.6 lb pup with a big heart, a playful spirit, and absolutely gorgeous blue eyes that are sure to win you over at first glance. After her mother was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico, Pickle and her brother were born under our care at the vet clinic. This little princess has already proven she’s strong, resilient, and ready to find her own forever home.
Pickle is all about playtime, companionship, and forming loyal bonds with her people. She’s the perfect mix of gentle and spirited, and her personality is as beautiful as she is!
Pickle will be arriving in Morristown, NJ on May 16th and would love nothing more than to meet her forever family right at the airport. If her adopters can’t be there, she’ll head to a local foster home to await her happily ever after.
If you’re ready to bring home a pup who’s equal parts sweetness and spunk, Pickle is standing by. Don’t underestimate this small but mighty gir!

About The Sato Project:
The Sato Project has been working hard since 2011 to rescue and rehabilitate the stray dogs of Puerto Rico, known locally as “satos.” To date, we’ve saved over 8,000 dogs and are committed to stopping the overpopulation crisis with spay/neuter and vaccination programs. Your adoption helps us continue this vital work.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Wirehaired Terrier is a charming and energetic dog breed known for its shaggy coat and lively personality. Originating from terriers bred for hunting small game, they are intelligent, spirited, and make loyal companions. Their wiry coat requires regular grooming to prevent matting, and they thrive on ample exercise and mental stimulation. With proper training and socialization, Wirehaired Terriers can be excellent family pets, excelling in activities such as agility and obedience.
