Wyatt - Miniature Poodle and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Fayetteville, Georgia

Meet Wyatt! A Scruffy Little Gentleman with a Lot of Love to Give!

Wyatt is a full-grown Miniature Poodle/Chihuahua mix who is 1 year and 5 months old and weighs about 19 pounds. He's the biggest of his little group, but he's still a wonderfully manageable size!

Wyatt is a quiet, sweet boy who may need a little time to warm up when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment. He can take a few hours or even a few days to come out of his shell, so his ideal family will be one that understands the importance of patience and letting him settle in at his own pace.

He gets along well with other dogs and older children. We haven't had the opportunity to see how he does with cats. Wyatt is crate trained and is learning his household manners. He's doing well with potty training, although he does have a tendency to mark indoors. His new family should be prepared to continue working on this with consistency and positive reinforcement.

Wyatt has a medium-length, scruffy, somewhat wiry coat. We don't know whether he sheds or is hypoallergenic, so we cannot make any promises about that. He will need a family committed to keeping his coat brushed and properly maintained, with professional grooming as needed. He arrived with mats and tangles that had to be shaved out.

Wyatt is a really sweet little guy who just needs a chance to feel safe and comfortable. With a patient family, a cozy home, and some time to settle in, we think he'll make a wonderful companion!
