Hank - Miniature Poodle and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Fayetteville, Georgia

Meet Hank! A Little Scruffy Sweetheart Looking for a Place to Call Home!

Hank is a full-grown Miniature Poodle/Chihuahua mix who is 1 year and 5 months old and weighs about 16 pounds. He's got an adorable scruffy appearance and a very sweet personality to match!

Hank is a quieter little guy who may need a few hours or even a few days to feel comfortable in a new environment. He isn't necessarily going to be the life of the party when you first meet him, but give him a little time and patience, and you'll get to see the really sweet dog underneath that shy exterior.

He gets along well with other dogs and older children. We don't know how he would do with cats. Hank is crate trained and is learning how to be a household dog. He's doing well with his potty training, but he does have a tendency to mark indoors. His new family will need to be prepared to continue working on this as he adjusts to his new home.

Hank's coat is medium-length, scruffy, and more wiry than curly. We don't know whether he sheds or is hypoallergenic, so we can't guarantee either. He will need a family willing to keep up with regular brushing and grooming as needed. He arrived with some mats and tangles that had to be shaved out, making ongoing coat care especially important.

Hank doesn't need a perfect home. He just needs a patient one. Someone willing to give him time to settle in, show him the comforts of family life, and love him for the sweet little dog he is.
