Meet Colton! A Little Scruffy Sweetheart Looking for His Forever Home!

Colton is an adorable Miniature Poodle/Chihuahua mix who is almost 1 year old and weighs just 10 pounds. He's a full-grown little guy with a scruffy coat, a sweet personality, and so much love to give!

Colton may take a little time to warm up in a new environment, but once he starts feeling comfortable, his sweet nature really begins to shine. He's a quieter boy who is still learning the ropes of being a household dog. With patience, consistency, and a little encouragement, he's ready to blossom into a wonderful companion.

He gets along well with other dogs and older children. We haven't had the opportunity to see how he does with cats. Colton is crate trained and is doing very well with his potty training. Unlike some of his housemates, he has not shown a tendency to mark indoors.

Colton has a medium-length, somewhat wiry and scruffy coat. We can't guarantee whether he'll shed or be suitable for people with allergies, and his future family should be prepared to keep up with regular coat care and grooming as needed. He arrived with some mats and tangles that had to be shaved out, so keeping his coat brushed and maintained will be important.

Colton is a gentle little soul who just needs someone willing to give him the time and love to feel at home. If you're looking for a sweet, smaller companion to welcome into your family, Colton might be your guy!
