Meet Missy!

She is a year and a half old, golden and glowing, and that smile is absolutely contagious from across the room.

Missy's story starts on a busy street in Texas, where she and her brother Sheldon were found as three month old puppies outside a local clinic that became their unlikely home. Animal control could not take them in. So they waited. For months, these two little dogs held on together until the right people finally showed up and said not anymore. Missy is making her way to Maine and she arrives 9/12 ready to leave all of that behind and step fully into the life she always deserved.

What came through all of that is a dog who is pure sunshine. Wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats, and so full of love it just radiates off her. That photo of her mid laugh, ears flying, whole body wiggling, that is not a special moment. That is just Missy on a regular Tuesday. She is a love bug through and through, and she has been waiting a long time to pour all of that into one very lucky home.

Missy is ready. And whoever says yes to her is going to spend the rest of their life being grateful they did.
