Meet Hutch!

He is eleven months old, jet black with white tuxedo paws, and he has recently developed a very sophisticated interest in classical music.

Hutch is a Lab mix with warm brown eyes, a broad blocky head, and the kind of earnest, good-natured energy that makes everyone around him immediately fall for him. He is wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats, and has clearly expanded his social circle to include stringed instruments, because that cello photo is not an accident, that is a boy with taste. He rode up to Maine in the backseat like a total gentleman, sitting upright and taking in the scenery like someone who knew something good was coming.

He is the kind of dog who looks at you with those steady brown eyes and you just think, this one is going to be someone's absolute best friend. Smart, sweet, curious about everything, and completely full of heart.

Hutch is ready for a home that appreciates a dog who is equally comfortable on a walk, on the couch, or apparently at a chamber music recital.
