If you've been dreaming of a sweet, gentle Labrador who will happily curl up beside you after a fun day of adventures, Carrie may be the perfect match. This beautiful black Lab recently celebrated her 2nd birthday and is everything people love about the breed—loving, loyal, and incredibly kind.

Carrie has never met a stranger. She adores everyone she meets, including children, other dogs, and cats. While she's social and friendly, she's not a high-energy whirlwind. She would be happiest in a peaceful, quieter home where she can relax with her family and enjoy life's simple pleasures.

One thing on Carries wish list? A friendly canine companion! She absolutely loves other dogs and would enjoy having another playful, well-mannered pup to share her days with.

Although home is her favorite place to be, Carrie is always ready for an adventure—especially if it involves a road trip and a stop for a well-earned pup cup! At around 40 pounds, she's on the smaller side for a Labrador, making her an easy companion to take along wherever life leads.

Carrie is spayed, fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start her next chapter with a family of her own.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
