Meet Maxie, a handsome little kitten who got a rough start in life but is now thriving in foster care. Maxie was found all alone underneath the porch of our local veterinary clinic when he was just a tiny baby. Thankfully, he was rescued and brought into our care, where he has blossomed into a happy, playful, and affectionate kitten.

Now about 12 weeks old, Maxie spends his days playing with his best friend, Farley. The two boys have formed a special bond and are rarely far from each others side. Whether they're chasing toys, wrestling, exploring, or curled up together for a nap, these best buddies do everything together. Because of their close friendship, we would love to see them adopted as a pair.

Maxie is curious, outgoing, and full of kitten energy. He loves attention, enjoys playing with other cats, and is always ready for his next adventure. His sweet personality and adorable face make him impossible to resist.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
