Pearl is a beautiful little Dachshund with a gentle heart who is looking for a fresh start after losing the only home she had ever known. When her beloved owner passed away, the family reached out for help. While no one was able to take her in, we promised Pearl that we would find her the loving forever home she deserves.

At around 4 years old and just 14 pounds, Pearl is the perfect little companion. She has settled beautifully into her foster home, where she lives with other dogs and children and gets along wonderfully with everyone. She is sweet, affectionate, and enjoys being part of the family.

Pearl is ready to leave the sadness of her past behind and start the next chapter of her life with someone who will cherish her forever. She has so much love to give and will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
