Frankie - Year-Old Male Yellow Lab, 70 Pounds, Will be
Background.
Frankie's current humans adopted him from his dad's boss when Frankie was about three months old. Frankie has turned out to be too much for his parents to care for; they thought they could bring in a third dog but with one of their other dogs being a senior, Frankie sometimes wants to play with her when she wants to rest. Frankie's parents realized he deserves more of an active home where Frankie can receive more attention and activity. Both of his parents work out of the home and Frankie is left alone several hours a day. He is housetrained and because his parents are at work, he spends a lot of time indoors.
What Frankie's Rescue Rep says:
We had one of our volunteers meet with Frankie. He did well meeting her and her very energetic 6 year old female Shepherd. She was equally as energetic as Frankie and the two of them enjoyed chasing each other in the yard! Frankie currently lives on several acres and that's where he gets his exercise. Frankie's young and will do great with some basic training, good human leadership and guidance.
Frankie is reported to chase cats. His family feels he might be too much for smaller children because he's hyper and jumps on people. He'd likely love an equally energetic canine sibling.
Medical:
Frankie is in good health and will be updated on vaccinations as well as neutered. We will be getting him heartworm tested and microchipped.
Frankie is currently located in: Valley Springs
