Meet Nova, a spirited little pup who may be a bit shy with people at first, but when it comes to other dogs, she has absolutely no idea she's the little one! Nova will happily wrestle with a 30-pound dog as though she's twice their size, and her playful, fearless personality really comes alive when she has a canine friend around.
Nova is still building her confidence with humans, so she'll appreciate a family willing to give her a little time and patience as she settles in. She has done wonderfully with her foster family's 6-year-old son and absolutely adores being part of the household.
For such a young pup, Nova is already doing amazingly well with her crate. She sleeps for about nine hours through the night, so she's well on her way to being crate-trained! Of course, all that playing and growing is hard work, and Nova takes her puppy naps very seriously.
And then there's mealtime. Nova LOVES her food and approaches every bowl as though she hasn't eaten in weeks. If enthusiasm for dinner were an Olympic sport, we're pretty sure she'd medal!
Nova is an energetic girl who is likely to grow into a larger, active dog, so a fenced yard would be ideal for giving her a safe place to run, play, and burn off some of that puppy energy. Her forever family should also be ready to continue all the training, socialization, and confidence-building that comes with raising a young pup.
Nova is playful, funny, energetic, and just waiting for the right people to help her discover how wonderful the world can be. This little girl deserves the world-and we can't wait to find the family ready to give it to her.
