Small in size at just 8.5 pounds but big in personality, Rolo is proof that age is just a number. At 10 years old, this sweet senior still has plenty of pep in his step and a real zest for life. He loves going for walks, playing fetch, squeaking his favorite toys, soaking up the sunshine, and most of all, spending time with his people.

Rolo absolutely adores attention and is happiest when he's by your side. He would love to share your lap, couch and bed. When he's not with his person, you can almost always find him burrowed in a blanket. He's a professional cave builder who takes great pride in creating the coziest space possible, so his forever home must be well stocked with blankets to support his favorite hobby.

Rolo would be happy as an only dog or with another small dog that has a similar temperament. He would thrive with a human who is home often and looking for a loyal companion to share their days with.

Rolo is house-trained, leash-trained and a very good listener. He may cry when left alone at first, but he has learned to settle quickly once he feels comfortable in his space.

Rolo has some medical needs that will require ongoing monitoring and veterinary care in the future. His ideal adopter should be prepared to take an active role in managing his health and continuing his care as needed. We are happy to discuss this further.
