Quincy is the quiet observer of her family, the little thinker who likes to take in the world around her before jumping into the action. At just eight weeks old, she's calm, independent, and incredibly sweet.
Don't let her quiet nature fool you, though. Quincy is a great advocate for herself! If she's hungry or wants some attention, she'll let you know with an adorable little bark. She knows what she wants, and she isn't afraid to ask for it.
Quincy enjoys a good game of fetch and is perfectly happy entertaining herself, but she'll never turn down a warm lap or a cozy cuddle session. She has a gentle soul and a loving heart that makes it easy to fall in love with her.
Quincy likes to walk in a little circle around her food bowl while she eats,and she is a very good eater!
Quincy was lovingly bottle-fed and raised in foster care alongside three of her siblings, two foster puppy siblings, and two foster kittens. Growing up surrounded by both dogs and cats has helped her become a well-socialized little girl who is comfortable around all kinds of furry friends.
Quincy may be a thoughtful observer, but she has a sweet, loving personality just waiting to blossom. She's looking for a family who will give her the love, patience, and guidance she needs as she grows.

Quincy is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/22/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven't arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start's Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Visit our Foster to Adopt Program page to learn more. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
