Rhaenyra - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Pembroke, Massachusetts

Meet Rhaenyra!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

Rhaenyra is a female Lab mix born on February 4, 2026. She weighs approximately 40 pounds and is living in a foster home in Massachusetts.

PERSONALITY: Rhaenyra is a curious, easygoing puppy with a wonderful balance of playfulness and relaxation. She likes to take a moment to sniff out new people, then greets them with a wagging tail. At home, she happily wrestles and plays with toys but also enjoys snoozing independently on the couch or floor.

FAVORITE THINGS: Car rides, errands, walks, toys, chew bones, belly rubs, and playing with other dogs. She insists on removing every tag from her toys and has a hilarious lion-like pounce that sends her flying through the air before landing on her toy.

AT HOME: Rhaenyra is crate trained and nearly house trained. She settles quietly in her crate and has had no crate accidents. She is a strong chewer, so durable toys are best and bedding should be monitored.

LEASH SKILLS: Rhaenyra walks politely on leash. Loud noises and busy places can still make her cautious, but she recovers with gentle encouragement.

OTHER DOGS: Rhaenyra is dog friendly and enjoys wrestling, sharing toys, and relaxing with her foster brother. She responds well when asked to settle during play. She could live with a compatible dog or be happy as the only dog.

CHILDREN: Rhaenyra has been gentle and friendly with toddlers, young children, and middle schoolers who approach her calmly. Her experience with loud or overly enthusiastic children is limited.

CATS: Unknown. She has not lived with cats and may chase rabbits in the yard.

BEST FIT: Rhaenyra would thrive with someone who will include her in daily life, introduce her to new experiences at a comfortable pace, and encourage her playful side.

All of our dogs are up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and on preventatives.
