Meet Bimba — A Beautiful Girl Ready to Discover the World
Bimba is a beautiful 9-month-old girl with a sweet nature, playful puppy energy, and so much potential. She is growing into a wonderful young dog and is expected to be approximately 50 lbs full grown, making her a lovely medium-sized companion. She is ready for the next chapter of her life — one that finally includes a family of her own.
Bimba is affectionate, curious, playful, and happiest when she has canine friends and caring people around her. Like any young dog, she can be silly and mischievous, but beneath that puppy spirit is a sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place.
Her story began in a way no puppys story ever should.
Bimba, her brother Bongo, and their siblings were found as tiny puppies, abandoned in the garbage and left completely helpless. A kindhearted person who happened to be walking his dog discovered the litter and immediately contacted our rescue partner, SOS El Arca Animal Rescue, for help.
That moment changed everything.
The puppies were brought to safety and given veterinary care, nutritious food, shelter, and something they had never known before — kindness.
The tiny puppies someone discarded have since grown into beautiful young dogs. Bimba survived the hardest part of her story. Now she needs the one thing a shelter simply cannot provide: a home and a person to call her own.
Because Bimba has spent much of her puppyhood growing up in a rescue environment, everyday home life will still be new to her. Her adopter should be prepared to continue her training, socialization, and confidence building with patience and positive reinforcement.
There will be new sounds to hear, new places to explore, new people to meet, and new routines to learn. Bimba needs someone who understands that confidence isnt created overnight — it is built through many small, positive experiences.
She is young and eager to learn, making this a wonderful time for her to begin discovering the world alongside her person.
Her potty training has already begun and will need to continue in her new home. Crate training, a predictable routine, exercise, positive reinforcement, and plenty of patience will help her understand what is expected of her and set her up for success.
Bimba gets along very well with other dogs and enjoys playing with her canine friends. A friendly, confident resident dog could be a wonderful companion and role model as she adjusts to home life, although the right adopter can also help her thrive as a solo dog.
Bimba is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
She has the opportunity to travel to New York, but she cannot make that journey without a committed adopter or foster-to-adopt home waiting for her.
Bimba isnt looking for someone who expects a perfectly trained dog to arrive on day one. She is looking for someone willing to teach her, encourage her, laugh through the puppy moments, celebrate her progress, and give her the time every young dog deserves.
In return, youll get to experience something incredibly special: watching a puppy who was once thrown away discover what it means to belong.
Bimbas beginning was decided for her.
Her future doesnt have to be.
Somewhere out there is the person who will introduce her to cozy beds, neighborhood walks, adventures, toys scattered across the floor, quiet evenings together, and the simple security of knowing she is finally home.
Maybe that person is you.
If youre ready for puppy adventures, training, laughter, companionship, and the incredibly rewarding experience of helping a young rescue dog blossom, Bimba may be your girl.
