DESCRIPTION
This is Brooklyn She is about three-and-a-half months old, is spayed, weighs about 18 pounds and is currently living in a foster home. To adopt her, please email pets@michianapets.org and request an application.
Here is what her foster mom has learned about her:
"Brooklyn is the epitome of a joyful, spunky puppy and lights up every room she's in. She's eager to learn new tricks and explore with the appropriate amount of timidness.
She finds a great balance of silly play and affectionate cuddles. She enjoys sunbathing, porch-watching, fetch, belly rubs, chewing on deer antlers, tennis balls, squeaky toys (without breaking them), mealtime and has great backseat car etiquette, lol
Brooklyn is recently spayed and has recovered smoothly (giving her medicine was a breeze). Her coat is so soft and its unique patterns almost give her a batman-like mask. Any home would be more than lucky to have her if they can reciprocate the affection, patience and playfulness she's looking for."
We would love to see Brooklyn adopted into a home with another dog who she can learn from and socialize with! We think she'd love respectful kiddos and she was quite polite around shelter kitties
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
