Meet Maybelle!!

Maybelle has had more than her fair share of change, and through it all, she has remained an absolute gem.

She first showed up as a stray in 2022. A kind person took her in and gave her a home until he passed away in January 2024. She was then cared for by tenants on one of his nearby properties until they moved this past June and, sadly, couldn't take her with them. Now Maybelle is safe in a loving foster home and she is very ready for her forever people.

Maybelle is smart, attentive, and wonderfully well mannered. She knows sit, down, place, and here, and she recently completed a board and train program. She is now a dream on leash and loves knowing whats expected of her.

She also has never met a stranger. Maybelle loves people, including kids, and she's great with other dogs. She regularly goes to the dog park and happily mingles with dogs of all sizes, both boys and girls.

At home, Maybelle is almost suspiciously easy. She's fully potty trained, sleeps quietly on her dog bed at night, and knows exactly which piece of furniture is hers to lounge on (one chair!). The rest of the furniture is apparently off-limits, and she respects that without being asked twice. She isn't crated and doesn' t need to beshe can be trusted home alone without turning your house into a remodeling project.

If you're sensing a theme here, its that Maybelle is just a really, really good dog.

We think she may be a Lab/GSP mix, but honestly, her breed makeup is anyones guess. What we do know is that she's about 50 pounds, making her a great medium-sized adventure buddy without taking up the entire couch and is the perfect age of 4-5yrs old.

Maybelle has already proven that she can be a loyal companion, a polite housemate, a great dog friend, and an all-around good girl. After everything she's been through, she deserves a family who is ready to committ to her for the rest of her days.
