Meet Gibson!!

Somehow, Gibson has found himself at a high-kill shelter in Houston not once, but twice.

The second time we saw his face on the euthanasia list, we knew we couldnt let that be his fate. We found him a foster, busted him out of the shelter, and made him a promise: he will never be an unwanted dog again.

Now onto the best part...Gibson himself.

This guy is just freaking great.

Gibson is around 4 years old and 55 pounds, which means he's at that perfect age where he's the perfect mix of playful and chill. Want to throw a ball? He's ALL IN. Hell hop, jump, chase, fetch, and happily keep the game going. But when the fun is over? He's perfectly content to come home and pass out on the floor with his back legs splayed out behind him in the most adorable display of pure comfort.

We think Gibson is some sort of Cattle Dog/German Shepherd mix, but honestly, it doesn't really matter what he is because he's pretty close to perfection. And those ears? To die for.

Gibson is good with other dogs, good with kids, great on a leash, and rides well in the car. He's lived in a home before, and it shows. He's well-adjusted, personable, friendly, and comfortable meeting new people.

His ideal family is one that wants their dog to actually be part of their life. Hiking in the morning and Netflix on the couch at night? Gibsons in. Road trip? Lets go. Throw the ball around the backyard and then spend the rest of the afternoon doing absolutely nothing? Even better.

There really isn't much bad we can say about this guy. He's friendly, fun, affectionate, adaptable, and just an all around good boy.

After ending up unwanted twice, Gibson deserves a family who will make sure there is never a third time.
