MEET BATMAN! THE LITTLE LEADER OF OUR BATMAN LITTER!
Meet Batman, one of six little boys from our Batman litter of seven who recently arrived at Tracy’s Paws Rescue from deep South Texas.
And yes, this is the little fellow we named the entire litter after! Batman has the most adorable markings on his face that look just like he’s wearing a Batman mask! He is cute as a button, full of personality, and definitely the one in charge of his brothers and sister. Every litter seems to have a little leader, and Batman has proudly claimed that title!
Batman and his siblings came from what we call a one-way shelter, meaning the shelter does not allow public adoptions. The only way these puppies could leave was if a rescue group stepped up to save them.
And with seven puppies needing help, their chances of making it out were heartbreakingly slim.
When we got these babies, they were absolutely crawling with fleas and ticks. This severely underfunded shelter simply doesn’t have the resources to provide the basic flea and tick prevention these puppies desperately needed.
We just couldn’t leave them behind.
But what a difference a little love and care can make! Today, Batman and his siblings are happy little bundles of joy, having the time of their lives here at The Milton, where they are finally getting the attention and care they deserve.
Their mama, Talia, is an incredibly sweet girl who weighs just 20 pounds. Based on her size, we anticipate these puppies will likely grow to around 20–30 pounds, although we can never guarantee their adult size.
Batman is a wonderful little puppy with a big personality who would love nothing more than to have a family of his very own. He’s already proven that he knows how to take charge, and we suspect he’ll keep his future family smiling with his adorable antics!
As with all puppies, we strongly encourage his future family to enroll him in puppy training classes and introduce crate training early. These are wonderful ways to establish good habits and set everyone up for a happy, successful adoption.
Batman’s life started with uncertainty, but his future is now filled with possibilities. This little superhero just needs a family to love him forever.
