Cassandra - Labrador Retriever and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Hondo, Texas

MEET CASSANDRA! THE ONLY LITTLE GIRL IN A LITTER OF SEVEN!

Sweet Cassandra is one of the smallest puppies in her litter, and she has the most precious, gentle personality. She is an absolute sweetheart!

Cassandra and her six brothers came from a shelter in deep South Texas, where their chances of making it out alive were heartbreakingly slim.

This is one of the shelters we visit that operates as a one-way facility, meaning animals cannot be adopted directly from the shelter. Their only way out is through a rescue group willing and able to take them.

With seven puppies needing help, their future was terribly uncertain.

When we got them, they were covered in fleas and ticks. These babies deserved so much better, and we are incredibly grateful that all seven are now safe with us at Tracy’s Paws Rescue.

And now it’s Cassandra’s turn to find a family of her very own!

She is a tiny bundle of sweetness who would love nothing more than to grow up surrounded by love.

As with all puppies, we strongly encourage enrolling Cassandra in a puppy training class and introducing her to a crate. Both are wonderful investments in building confidence, establishing good habits, and setting everyone up for a happy, successful adoption.

Cassandra has already beaten the odds. Now she just needs someone to give her the beautiful life she deserves.

Could that someone be you?
