Gotham - Labrador Retriever and Chihuahua Dog for Adoption in Hondo, Texas

MEET GOTHAM! ONE OF OUR ADORABLE BATMAN LITTER PUPPIES!

Meet Gotham, one of six little boys from our Batman litter of seven who recently arrived at Tracy’s Paws Rescue from deep South Texas.

Gotham is a precious little cream-colored puppy and one of the smallest in his litter! This little fellow is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and affectionate, and we think he’s absolutely irresistible!

Gotham and his siblings came from what we call a one-way shelter, meaning the shelter does not allow public adoptions. The only way these puppies could leave was if a rescue group stepped up to save them.

And with seven puppies needing help, their chances of making it out were heartbreakingly slim.

When we got these babies, they were absolutely crawling with fleas and ticks. This severely underfunded shelter simply doesn’t have the resources to provide the basic flea and tick prevention these puppies desperately needed.

We just couldn’t leave them behind.

But what a difference a little love and care can make! Today, Gotham and his siblings are happy little bundles of joy, having the time of their lives here at The Milton, where they are finally getting the attention and care they deserve.

Their mama, Talia, is an incredibly sweet girl who weighs just 20 pounds. Based on her size, we anticipate these puppies will likely grow to around 20–30 pounds, although we can never guarantee their adult size.

Gotham is a wonderful little puppy who loves to cuddle and would be thrilled to have a family of his very own.

As with all puppies, we strongly encourage his future family to enroll him in puppy training classes and introduce crate training early. These are wonderful ways to establish good habits and set everyone up for a happy, successful adoption.

Gotham’s life started with uncertainty, but his future is now filled with possibilities. All he needs is a family to love him forever.
