Scout (A143345) is a 1-year-old Lab mix who weighed 48.4 pounds on intake! 09/14/26 This happy hyper girl is Scout! Scout arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now cleared for adoption! She arrived at the shelter with skin issues and was seen by the shelter vet. It was found that he had a severe bacterial infection and received an antibiotic infection. She will need her skin rechecked on 9/22. It is very important that she receives her recheck to ensure she is responding well to the antibiotics. Since Scout was a stray, we do not know her experience level with children or other animals. It is important to make slow, safe, and controlled introductions to set her up for success. Her energy can be a bit overwhelming, so introductions are key! We also encourage her owner to bring her to a basic obedience class to continue working on her manners!
