DESCRIPTION
Goose (A134386) is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees who weighed 91 pounds on intake! 09/11/26 Goose has made his way back to the shelter once again. He is looking for a home that can provide him with ample room to run around and maybe someone who is home often. He has been through quite a bit of upheaval lately, but he hasn't let it dampen his spirits (despite the rest of being dampened by drool)! Goose may not be as kennel trained as we were first told. If you think you can be this big guy's forever home, please give us a call! 08/21/26 Mister Goose arrived back at the shelter as a stray without paperwork through our overnight drop off kennels. His most recent owners did not respond to any attempts to reach them, so Goose, unfortunately, had to wait at the shelter for over a week before he could be place back up for adoption. While we love having Goose here, we really want him to find his forever home! If you are interested in meeting this big, handsome goofy Goose, please give us a call! 08/05/26 This big smiley guy is Goose! Goose was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own and was truly described as a great dog! He was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate pup! He has historically done well with people of all ages, including babies and children. He has also done well in the past with other animals, including other dogs, cats, and pocket pets. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals and people to help set him up for success! Goose was said to be kennel-trained, housebroken, and rides well in a car. He is used to spending time outdoors when his owner is not home. Goose has a LOT of hair and does require grooming. He was very matted on arrival at the shelter but received a good brushing to help him feel more comfortable! His next owner will need to keep up on his grooming to prevent matting in the future. If you are interested in meeting Goose, please let us know!
