Jackie (A143442) is a 4-month-old Silkie available for adoption! 09/15/26 We have chickens! This flock was surrendered to the shelter due to their owner's own medical emergency. They were sad to part with them but are hopeful they can find new homes! The hens have just started to lay, and the boys enjoy strutting their stuff! Red was said to be a gentle boy and Eric is learning the ropes. These chickens arrived at the shelter with lice and should be quarantined from your flock until they are cleared. However, they would love to find their new coop(s) to call home. If you are interested in meeting any of them, please let us know!
