Wumba - Labrador Retriever and Poodle Dog for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

Come meet me and 100+ of my adoptable friends at Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's MEGA adoption event, Home for the Holidays! Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at the Warren County Career Center from 11am - 3pm!

Meet Wumba - a little sweetheart who has already mastered the fine art of snuggling!

At just 2.5 months old and approximately 10 pounds, Wumba is an adorable Poodle-Lab mix with soulful eyes, a sweet disposition, and a very simple philosophy on life: everything is better when someone is holding you.

While his brother Chumba is busy finding the next adventure, Wumba is perfectly happy to find a comfortable lap and settle in for some quality cuddle time. Pick him up, hold him close, and don't be surprised when he drifts right off to sleep in your arms.

Wumba is the more laid-back of the two brothers, and his gentle, affectionate personality makes him especially easy to fall in love with.

Of course, he's still a puppy and will need patience, potty training, and guidance as he grows into a wonderful adult companion.

If you've been dreaming of a little buddy who thinks your arms are the best place in the world, Wumba would love to meet you!

Fair warning: once he falls asleep in your arms, you might find it impossible to put him down!

Wumba is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $400.00

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
