Meet Bucky!
Bucky is a 3 year old male .... Heinz 57? Lab? Corgi mix? Bassett hound? Carolina dog? We're not entirely sure, but what we DO know is that Bucky is 100% a good boy! At just 45 pounds, this low-rider is ready to find his forever home! Bucky is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
We truly can't capture how much of a low rider this guy is in pics, but he's longer than he is tall!
Bucky is incredibly dog friendly and hasn't met a dog that he doesn't like! He's been around dogs of all ages and sizes and does great with everyone. We would say that Bucky has a moderate energy level. He enjoys playing with other dogs, but is also happy to curl up on the couch and snuggle.
Bucky is cat friendly! He currently lives with multiple cats and does great with them.
Bucky is kid friendly and currently lives with 3 kids ages 12, 9 and 7. He enjoys being around the children in the home and is always so gentle with them! He sleeps in bed with the 12 year old boy at night. He's also been around smaller kids that come to visit and is always very sweet towards them.
Bucky walks calmly on a leash with zero pulling. He is fully potty trained and is sure to only go potty outside. Bucky prefers to be left loose or free roaming. The crate stresses him out and he will cry.
Here's a small blurb about Bucky from his foster mom:
Bucky is the sweetest boy and would do great in any loving home! He's happy to go anywhere and is a great adventure buddy! You like to go to coffee shops? He's super friendly towards everyone he meets! You like snuggling on the couch for your favorite netflix show? Bucky will bring the popcorn! Bucky would do best living in a house vs an apartment or condo. His only "flaw" is he will cry when you leave. He is NOT destructive and does NOT tear anything up. He just misses his people. He does stop because he's always quiet when we come home, but just something for his potential family to be aware of. Bucky doesn't know the meaning of the word "stranger" and loves everyone. He's great in the car and will sit back and enjoy the ride!

The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
