Sae-Sang (20240924-02)
DOB: 04/11/2024 Estimated
Age: 2 years
Weight: 21-30 lbs
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Meet Sae-Sang, affectionately known as Clover, a beautiful black and white Jindo mix who is looking for her perfect forever family! Sae-Sang is the ultimate medium-energy companion who perfectly balances playfulness with cuddle time. She is fully house-trained, crate-trained (comfortably fitting a medium crate), and is not destructive at all.
Once Sae-Sang gets to know you, she reveals her deeply affectionate nature, transforming into an absolute cuddle bug who loves being touched and handled by her trusted humans. Sae-Sangs ideal home is a quiet, peaceful environment with a secure, fenced backyard. The yard is her absolute favorite place to be; she will happily spend hours out there alone, relaxing quietly without barking. Because of her deep love for outdoor space and her sensitivity to noise, apartment living is not a good fit for her.
Sae-Sang thrives in the company of women and absolutely loves school-aged children. However, she is uncomfortable around men and will need a patient, male-free household (or one with very limited, slow introductions to men) to feel truly safe. She is also a stellar companion for other canines and would love to have a balanced dog sibling in the home, though she cannot live with cats due to her high prey drive.
When it comes to daily life and routines, Sae-Sang is a good citizen with a few unique quirks. She enjoys walks but is fearful of traffic and cars, so she prefers sticking to quiet paths and nature trails rather than busy city streets. She is completely non-reactive to people or dogs while out on these peaceful walks. If you take her on a road trip, she will willingly jump right into the car, though she does experience travel anxiety that causes her to drool.
At home, Sae-Sang takes her role as a watchdog seriously; she will bark at the front window when people walk their dogs by, and she barks quite a bit when guests enter the house, especially men. While she settles quickly for women, her future family should be prepared to manage her greeting routine. Finally, while she is perfectly sweet with humans, she has shown some resource guarding with high-value treats around other dogs, so snack time just needs a little supervision. She currently thrives on a diet of Royal Canin Medium Breed kibble. If you have a peaceful home, a sunny yard, and a lot of love to give, Sae-Sang is ready to be your most loyal shadow!
