History:
Angela was rescued from a very rural county and is suspected of being used as a bait dog prior to being discarded. She came into the shelter with fresh wounds, healing wounds and scars all over her body. Her top teeth were completely pulled out, roots and all, and she has some ground down teeth on the bottom, some of which had to be surgically removed by our vet
Other important info:
Angela’s story is one of heartbreak, survival, and incredible resilience. This beautiful tan and white girl endured a life no dog should ever know. Used as a bait dog, Angela suffered repeated attacks while being left defenseless against unimaginable cruelty. Her abusers even removed her teeth, ensuring she could never fight back or protect herself from the pain and terror forced upon her.
When they were finished with her, Angela was discarded like she didn’t matter, abandoned and left alone with nothing but the scars of her past. Somehow, through all the darkness, Angela found her way to a local shelter where caring hands finally began helping her heal. After receiving the medical care she desperately needed, she was welcomed into our rescue and into a loving foster home where, for the very first time, she learned what safety, kindness, and love truly feel like.
Today, Angela is blossoming into the dog she was always meant to be. Despite everything humans did to her, she still greets people with gentle eyes, soft kisses, and a heart full of love. Angela adores being close to her people, soaking up every kind word, every soft touch, and every moment of affection she can get. She is calm, docile, and incredibly sweet , the kind of soul who seems to understand just how precious love really is. Her past may have left scars on her body, but it never hardened her heart.
Angela has proven that her story does not end with pain. It begins again with hope. Now, this brave and beautiful girl is searching for the family who will give her the happily ever after she has waited her entire life for, a home where she will never know fear again, only comfort, patience, and unconditional love. Angela’s best days are finally ahead of her.
