Meet Ethel!

Ethel is the sweetest 5-month-old Husky mix who currently weighs around 30 pounds. What else is mixed in there? Your guess is as good as ours—but whatever the combination, it made one pretty wonderful puppy!

Ethel is a friendly, social girl who hasn't met a dog or human she doesn't like. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and is always happy to make a new friend.

She is already crate trained and is still working on potty training, which is completely normal for a puppy her age. Ethel has also been very well mannered when out in public. She could use a little more practice with her leash skills, but she's young, eager to learn, and off to a great start.

With her sweet temperament, playful personality, and love for both people and dogs, Ethel has all the makings of a wonderful family companion. She just needs a family ready to continue her training, give her plenty of opportunities to play and explore, and most importantly, love her forever.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **

The husky breed is renowned for its striking appearance, characterized by piercing eyes and a thick double coat. These medium sized, energetic dogs are known for their friendly and outgoing personalities, making them wonderful companions for active families. Originally bred for sledding and endurance in cold climates, huskies are intelligent and independent, often displaying a strong prey drive.
