Meet Poppy!
Poppy is a 1-year-old, 13-pound male Chihuahua mix — mixed with what, we aren't quite sure, but whatever the combination is, it made one fun little dog!
Poppy is an active, playful boy who loves spending time with other dogs. Whether he's playing with his canine friends or following his human from room to room, Poppy likes to be part of whatever is going on.
He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn't take him long to warm up and let his sweet, playful personality come through.
Poppy does well in a crate and is still working on potty training, so his new family will need to continue helping him establish a consistent routine. He's a young boy who is eager to learn and has lots of love and energy to share.
If you're looking for a small dog with a big personality who loves to play and then follow you around the house to see what you're doing next, Poppy may be your perfect match!
If you are interested in adopting Poppy, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
