Orla - Border Collie Dog for Adoption in Charlotte, North Carolina

Orla is a five year old sweetheart who is finally living the pampered life she has always deserved after coming from a neglectful past. Naturally loving and endlessly affectionate, she thrives on human connection—whether she’s trailing right behind her foster mom like a loyal shadow or curling up on the couch for some serious cuddle time. She is both house and crate trained, making her a wonderful, polite companion indoors.

Orla gets along great with other dogs and cats, and while she doesn't currently live with children, she has proven to be friendly and gentle around them when out in public. After a rough start, Orla is soaking up all the love and care she can get, and she is ready to bring her endless warmth to a forever home.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
