Additional Info:
Meet Potato, the gentle giant you’ve been waiting for!
This handsome Husky/Lab/Northern mix is as sweet as his name suggests. Found roaming the streets of Moosonee, Potato is now looking for a couch to call his own and a family to love.

The Basics:
Personality: Medium energy, social, and incredibly friendly. He’s a "yes" man—good with kids, adults, and other dogs!
Training: He is house and crate trained, though he may need a quick refresher as he settles out of the shelter environment. He’s a fast learner who thrives on routine.
Walking: He’s a dream on a leash! While he has a "slight pull," he walks like a pro with a harness and shows zero reactivity to people or other pups.

Potato is looking for a home with a fenced-in yard where he can stretch his legs. While he’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, he would also love a furry sibling to show him the ropes. Because of his size and Northern heritage, he isn't suited for apartment living.

Potato is currently being treated for Red Mange (Demodex). Don't let the name scare you—it is not contagious to humans or other pets. He just needs a little bit of medication and some extra TLC to get his coat back to its full, snowy-white glory!

If you’re looking for a non-destructive, quiet, and loyal companion who just wants to be part of the pack, Potato is your guy.
