Foster Notes / Backstory:
Luna’s story is one of incredible resilience and heart. She was found abandoned in the middle of nowhere, left to survive on her own without food, water, or shelter.

When she was rescued, she was severely underweight and suffering from mange—her little body covered in sores, much of her fur gone. It’s truly remarkable that she held on.
And yet… you would never know that hardship by the way she greets the world today.

Luna is pure sunshine. Her tail is almost always wagging, her eyes bright with hope, and her heart wide open. Despite everything she’s been through, she loves people deeply and without hesitation. She seeks out affection, leans into you for comfort, and gives it right back tenfold. All she’s ever wanted is to be safe, cared for, and loved—and now that she has a second chance, she’s embracing it fully.
She’s gaining weight, her coat is coming back beautifully, and her playful puppy spirit is shining through more each day. She loves running in the yard, playing with toys, and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. Mealtime is her favorite event—understandably so—and her excitement is a sweet reminder of just how far she’s come.

Luna does best with dogs her own size or larger, as she’s still learning appropriate play and can be a bit too enthusiastic with smaller pups. She means no harm—she’s just a young dog figuring things out and enjoying life again.

What Luna needs now is a family who will continue showing her the kindness she’s always deserved. A home where she’ll never have to wonder where her next meal is coming from, where she’ll always have a warm bed, and where her joyful, loving spirit will be cherished. She survived the unimaginable—now she’s ready to truly live.
