Husky and Chihuahua Dogs Available for Adoption in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Kara is about 2 years old and around 25 lbs. She came in with a group of 10 dumped. We are told they are Husky Chihuahua mixes but I'm sure that means they have a couple other breeds mixed in there as well.

She also has the personality of a cat. She likes to watch from a distance and isn't always sure about joining in. We have caught her engaging in play but as she makes friends they get adopted and she has to start all over. She isn't that affectionate and is more independent. She came in with 10 dogs including her puppies all who were dumped in Denham. She has come such a long way and will definitely be a great companion once she has a place to plant her roots. This girl LOVES to eat. She can learn a new routine and tricks with the help of treats! She is house trained and kennel trained. She's not super active but she does love a good chew bone.

She has the softest fur and we're told she looks like a pug mix in person. She would do that best in a home with a lot of one-on-one time or another dog to show her the ropes.
