Chihuahua and Yorkshire Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Carrie is a pint-sized senior at 6 lbs. Chihuahua mix. Possibly a Chihuahua and Yorkie mix, Chorkie.

She's older at about 8- 10 years plus years old. She's had a dental cleaning to make sure her teeth are in good shape and blood work came back good.

She's also not super affectionate. She is independent but with some space she does normally seek out her foster mom. She follows her around and gives a slow tail wag. She likes to walk the yard and doesn't mind dogs of different sizes.

She likes to eat wet food or a combination of soaked dry with wet. She doesn't have a lot of teeth so it's a little easier for her.

Sometimes she's stubborn and doesn't want to be picked up or have her face touched. She can reacts (dramatically) but she doesn't bite just acts like she will bite and lets out a squeal. She tries to act like a tough guy but once you are holding her, she's doesn't mind.

She definitely has a quirky personality but her sweet little face makes up for it.

She is not house or pad trained but in a good routine and keeping her on track to go outside, she can avoids accidents.
