Some dogs chase roadrunners. I'm chasing a forever home. The name's W.C. McWorthy, W.C. for Wile E. Coyote, and McWorthy because around here we believe that "Every Rescue is Worthy." At just 4 months old and already tipping the scales at 36 pounds, it's safe to say I'm likely going to be a pretty big boy when I grow up. I'm a fun-loving puppy with a lot of potential and an even bigger heart. I get along well with other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine companion. Having another dog around helps me build confidence and reminds me that the world isn't such a scary place after all. Like any young pup, I'm still learning the basics. I'm working hard on housebreaking, crate training, and leash walking, and I'm making progress every day. I try my best, but I'll need a family that's committed to helping me continue my training and teaching me how to be a well-mannered adult dog. One thing you should know about me is that I can get a little worried when left alone, especially in my kennel. I have some separation anxiety, but I'm much calmer when I'm out with my people and included in daily life. I'll need a patient family willing to help me work through those fears with consistency, positive reinforcement, and understanding. Because I'm an active, growing puppy, a fenced yard is a must. I'd love a family that enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, and plenty of activities where I can tag along. Life is just better when we're doing things together. My first year will be an important one. With training, structure, patience, and unconditional love, I have everything it takes to become an incredible companion. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who's ready for a lifetime of adventures, I just might be the worthy companion you've been searching for. Unlike Wile E. Coyote, I'm not looking for the next big chase, I'm looking for a family to call my own.
**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**
