Basil came to us from another rescue after she was found in poor condition and heavily pregnant. She has since given birth, and we’ve been working hard to help her get healthy and ready for the next stage of her life. Now she’s ready for adoption—and, most importantly, she is ready to never have to give birth again! Basil is a friendly, intelligent, curious, and vocal young lady who has plenty of personality. She’s moderately active and enjoys being out and about, although she’ll let you know if she has an opinion to share! She can be a picky eater, but we think that’s just another part of her charming personality. Basil is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and we think she’d do well with kids. After starting life as a young mom under difficult circumstances, Basil deserves the chance to simply be a dog—to explore, play, be loved, and have someone take care of her for a change.
