Jack is a handsome black-and-tan mixed-breed boy with soulful brown eyes, adorable floppy ears, and a gentle personality that will melt your heart.
Jack's journey began when he and his friend Jill wandered onto a woman's property in Oklahoma. Thankfully, they found someone who cared enough to take them in, get to know them, and help them find loving homes.
And what we've learned about Jack is pretty wonderful!
Jack is a sweet, slightly shy boy who absolutely LOVES other dogs!
In fact, his foster says he has gotten along with every dog he's met so far!
When interacting with other dogs, Jack will sometimes flop right onto his back, showing his belly. He's a gentle boy who seems happy to let his dog friends take the lead.
He loves toys, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has a wonderful balance of playful energy and a relaxed personality.
But there's another side to Jack that makes him especially endearing.
Once playtime is over, Jack is perfectly content to curl up on a soft bed and enjoy a little peace and quiet.
He's calm and easygoing indoors and has already spent multiple nights in a home without having any potty accidents!
Jack can be a little shy when meeting new people. He isn't necessarily the dog who will rush up to every stranger demanding attention. Instead, he likes to take a little time to get comfortable.
But give him that time, and his sweet personality begins to shine!
Here's what makes Jack such a special boy:

We think Jack would especially enjoy a home with another friendly dog who could be his playmate and help him continue building confidence.
He would also do well with people who appreciate a dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention every minute of the day.
Someone who will give him a little time to settle in, plenty of love, a few fun toys, and a soft place to sleep.

Basics: He is a neutered male guessed to be around 1 yr old and weighs close to 40lbs. He is currently in a foster home in Lenexa, KS
Adoption Process:

- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee of $280 helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
