B.) accidentally made eye contact with him for more than three seconds,

C.) accepted that your life could probably use a little more laughter.
Excellent choice. Now, before we continue, we'd like to address one common misconception. Scientists originally believed happiness was an emotion. Then they met Tigger. It turns out... Happiness is actually a fluffy puppy with four paws, a goofy grin, and absolutely no reason to believe today won't be the greatest day ever. Tigger wakes up every morning like someone just announced it's the first day of summer vacation. He's the puppy who somehow convinces everyone around him to smile a little bigger, laugh a little louder, and remember that life doesn't always have to be so serious.
Before we continue, let's cover the official statistics. Tigger is a 3-month-old, 26-pound male Great Pyrenees mix. The shelter paperwork also suggested there might be some Australian Shepherd mixed in there, and honestly, we can see the argument. But then you look at that gorgeous cream-colored coat, those ridiculously fluffy ears, and that permanent "life is awesome" smile......and suddenly you're wondering if a Golden Retriever may have quietly snuck into the family tree and decided not to tell anyone. Tigger arrived with his siblings after they all found themselves in a shelter. I know, it is hard to believe. You're telling us this fluffy little guy—the one who looks like the grand prize at the county fair if the prizes actually came to life and loved you back—was somehow sitting in a kennel waiting for someone to notice him? That feels...statistically impossible. But whoever missed out on this boy also gave you the opportunity to adopt a once-in-a-lifetime kind of pup! 3
If Chapter One established anything, it's that Tigger was born believing life is better when you are having fun. The only thing he loves more than having fun...is having someone to have fun with. Take other dogs, for example. When Tigger first meets a new canine friend, he's wonderfully polite. He's not the puppy who immediately body-slams everyone into an instant wrestling match. Instead, he hangs back for just a moment. He watches. He waits. He politely asks himself, "Are we about to become best friends?" The answer, of course.....is almost always yes. He's done wonderfully with his foster family's 6-year-old Golden Retriever and their 4-month-old Great Pyrenees mix, happily bouncing between them with the enthusiasm of someone who has just discovered friendships are, in fact, unlimited. Cats remain one of the few unanswered questions in the Official Tigger Handbook. Now...Let's discuss children. Or, as Tigger refers to them... His Favorite Tiny Humans. The moment he hears his foster family's 11-year-old daughter or 14-year-old son coming downstairs, he's already making his way to the gate with the rest of the welcoming committee. Because obviously, greeting your favorite people is an emergency. He looks at them with the expression of someone who genuinely believes everything they do is absolutely hilarious. Run across the yard? Best thing he's ever seen. Start a conga line?Outstanding decision. Throw a tennis ball? You're basically a magician. Tigger has mastered one of life's greatest skills: Finding joy in absolutely ordinary moments. Then there are strangers. Or, as Tigger prefers to call them... People he simply hasn't met yet. The second the front door unlocks and that little electronic beep echoes through the house, his ears pop straight up like tiny satellite dishes. He happily trots over alongside the resident dogs to offer a proper greeting and politely collect the affection he is quite certain has been waiting for him all day. Honestly...The world could probably use a few more Tiggers.
Now, before we continue...There appears to have been a clerical error. According to his foster family, Tigger scores a 3 out of 10 on the energy scale. After extensive field research... We have concluded this is technically accurate. But only because Tigger believes energy and enthusiasm are two completely different things. He doesn't spend every waking second ricocheting off the furniture like a furry pinball. Instead, he has mastered something far more dangerous. He is enthusiastically up for absolutely anything. Need someone to spend Saturday cheering on your kid from the sidelines of a soccer game? Tigger's already wearing the team colors. Grandma wants company while she visits with friends at the nursing home? He'll happily soak up every ounce of attention like he was born for the job. Running errands? Count him in. Heading to the lake? He's already packed emotionally. Movie night afterward? Perfect. Tigger doesn't necessarily need excitement. He just wants to be wherever his favorite people happen to be. Car rides are another excellent example. He's still little enough that he'll need a lift into the family van, but once he's inside? He happily looks out the windows, quietly takes in the scenery, listens politely to Foster Mom's karaoke performances (without filing any formal complaints), and occasionally throws the kind of judgmental side-eye at questionable drivers. Since he's still finishing up his puppy vaccinations, formal leash walks haven't made it onto his résumé just yet. Tigger is the kind of dog who somehow fits in everywhere. He's just as likely to charm an entire soccer team as he is to melt the hearts of every grandparent in a nursing home. He loves toys. He thinks splashing in the water is a fantastic idea. And while fetch is definitely on his list of hobbies...Returning the ball remains...optional.
By now you've probably reached one very logical conclusion. "Well...he can't possibly be this adorable and this easy to live with." We're happy to report... He kind of is. Tigger is one of those rare puppies who seems capable of fitting into just about any loving home. Apartment? Sure. House with a yard?
Absolutely. Tiny home? As long as his people are there, he'll probably wonder why everyone keeps arguing about square footage. House training is still very much a work in progress—because, once again, he's three months old, not a tiny wizard. The encouraging news? He's learning quickly. His foster family says the accidents are becoming fewer and farther between, which means the little gears in that fluffy head are definitely turning. Now, let's discuss his barking. Because Tigger doesn't bark just to hear himself bark. No. Tigger believes in using his voice for important public service announcements. Specifically...If the family's Golden Retriever has finished going potty outside and the humans have failed to immediately notice...Tigger files an official complaint. "Um...excuse me? I believe someone has been left outside. I'd appreciate it if we could address this immediately." He's basically the neighborhood hall monitor. He also joins in during those exciting moments when everyone is running around playing together because, honestly, cheering from the sidelines is part of being on the team. The rest of the time? He's usually perfectly content relaxing, watching TV with the family, or supervising another afternoon nap.
