DESCRIPTION
Juno is a beautiful 3-month-old Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever mix who currently weighs 12.5 pounds. She’s playful, sweet, and has a goofy, entertaining side. Her foster family has nicknamed Juno “tiny panda bear” because she looks like one! She arrived at Wish Bone with her three siblings.
Juno enjoys both indoor and outdoor time—playing in the yard, interacting with other dogs, and having fun with her toys. She gets along well with dogs, cats, and children. Although Juno isn’t fully people-oriented yet and often follows her brother’s lead, she’s making steady progress. If you get down on her level, she’ll come over for attention and will begin to engage with you.
Like her siblings, Juno can be a bit slow to warm up, but her personality is starting to shine. She shows natural confidence and curiosity—often being the first to try new things like going down the stairs or approaching someone new.
She loves a good chew bone, rides well in the car, and has a unique habit of using her paws, which combined with her curiosity, suggests she’ll be very trainable.
Juno is currently working on house-training in her foster home and is doing well, especially with using potty pads when she can’t get outside. She’s been staying gated in the kitchen with her brother and hasn’t been introduced to a crate just yet.
Juno would thrive in a patient, loving home, ideally with a confident canine companion to help guide her. With time, encouragement, and consistency, she’s sure to blossom into a fun, affectionate, and engaging companion.
Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
