DESCRIPTION
Meet Midas, a handsome 3-month-old Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees Mix who currently weighs 14.2 pounds. He arrived at Wish Bone with his three siblings. He's likely the least timid of his litter—he's often described as friendly, adaptable, happy, playful, and quiet.
Midas is currently working on both house- and crate-training. He may cry in his kennel if he can’t see you, but he settles quickly once he knows you’re nearby. At night, he sleeps in his crate in his foster mom’s bedroom.
This good-natured boy does well with the larger dogs in his foster home. He loves playing in the yard, enjoying his toys, chewing on a good bone, and soaking up plenty of cuddles. Although Midas hasn’t been exposed to children, his easygoing nature suggests he’ll likely do just fine.
Midas is a super mellow guy—more of an observer with a gentle, sweet personality. He’s not much of a barker unless he’s left alone in his crate. He’s also making good progress with potty training and is already learning basic commands like “sit.”
A calm, loving home will help this sweet little man continue to grow into a confident and devoted companion. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
