“Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes…”
Oh wait…I’ve actually been living at the kennel for 872,640 minutes…that’s 689 days. I’m not the best at math but it seems like that is a very, very long time to be living at the kennel. I’m starting to get a complex. I’m starting to lose hope that my forever family is out there. But here I am trying again, so please share me far and wide because all I have ever wanted is a human to love and a human to love me back.
So a little about me: My name is Rosabella (Rosie for short) and I’m a 3-year-old german shepherd, mastiff, and great dane mix - DNA confirmed. Like come on people…that mix is awesome and you don’t see it often! Also, I don’t drool unlike some other breeds but I won’t name names *cough great pyrenees cough*. I am about 90 pounds which is expected since look at my genetics but the great thing about being a bigger dog is that the bigger the dog, the lazier they are. I have a good 10 minutes of romping around before I’m gassed and ready to chill - who can’t appreciate that?
I, of course, would love to be your one and only - because who the heck wants to share - but if I can’t be the singular light of your life, I would be okay with a male only companion who understands my play and nap nature. I do have a slight prey drive so cats are a firm no and I’m also a no female dogs kind of gal. If I have to share my human, I don’t want to compete with another female especially since no other female can compete with me anyway. No hard feelings right? I’m also 90 pounds of pure muscle and legs so the sturdier the kid, the better because sometimes I’m so clumsy that I can turn into a bowling ball when a kid is around. Whoops!
All that being said, I mean how could you not love me? My unique raccoon eyes and legs for days should have already attracted the love of my life. But alas, I’m still here at the kennel without a human to call my own. 689 days is a long time to be in the kennel - no offense to the wonderful kennel staff who has been taking care of me - and I’m starting to go a little stir crazy. Could this finally be my time to find the perfect best friend?
I promise to endlessly love you, judge only a little bit when you do something judge worthy, and try my hardest to make you laugh out loud multiple times a day.
If that sounds like something you’re into, please apply at https://bigfluffydogs.com/dog-adoption/ and email paige@bigfluffydogs.com … if it doesn’t sound like something your into, I will try not to take it personally, but also please share my post with your section of the world.
