Meet Daisy!
Daisy is a 10-month-old Goldendoodle with a soft heart, gentle soul, and the sweetest puppy-dog eyes you've ever seen. Weighing in at about 55 pounds, this beautiful girl came to us alongside her brother, Duke, after their owner could no longer care for them—a heartbreaking change that has left Daisy a little unsure of the world around her.
At first, Daisy can be a bit shy and hesitant, but underneath that timid exterior is a loving, loyal companion just waiting to blossom. She will need a patient and understanding family who will give her the time and space she needs to decompress, build confidence, and learn that she's safe and truly home.
Daisy has done well with other dogs and would likely benefit from a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. She has shown no ill intent toward cats and could potentially coexist with a slow, proper introduction. Because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in a home with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to give her gentle guidance and respect her space as she settles in.
She is crate trained and has a good understanding of house manners, making her a wonderful foundation dog for a family willing to continue her growth. Daisy doesn't yet have much experience on a leash, so a home with a physically fenced yard will be important to allow her to safely explore and build confidence at her own pace. While she hasn't shown much interest in toys just yet, we believe that as she becomes more comfortable, her playful side will begin to shine.
As a Goldendoodle, Daisy will require regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable, and her future family should be prepared for that commitment.
Daisy is a diamond in the rough, just waiting for someone to see her potential and help her grow into the confident, loving companion she's meant to be. If you have the patience, kindness, and love to give Daisy the fresh start she deserves, she will reward you with a lifetime of quiet loyalty and unconditional love.

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. We make every effort to evaluate each animal's temperament and behavior, including testing their interactions with other dogs, cats, and children (defined as individuals under the age of 18, when available). However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different.
While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program.
