Bowtie is an active, friendly purebred German short hair pointer with AKC papers whose owner in Mississippi sadly had a devastating car accident and can no longer take care of him and made the difficult decision to give his beloved boy to the rescue in order to help find Bowtie a wonderful new family.

Bowtie is a great dog, he is friendly and sweet and just loves other dogs. As a typical GSP, he has lots of energy and would do best with a family that will give him plenty of exercise, he would love to be your hiking partner!
Bowtie has been vaccinated and neutered and is a healthy happy boy. He is completely housebroken.
Bowtie has just arrived in the northeast and is doing great, he settled in immediately and love to play with his foster sister another GSP!

A little about Wags and adoption fees: The woman who runs Wags takes care of more than 200 dogs entirely on her own, she finds stray dogs constantly and find it impossible to turn them away.
Adoption fees are the only source of funding for Wags and help pay for the vaccines, microchip spay/neuter and the transport from Mississippi for the lucky dogs who get posted for adoption and fine loving homes. What little is left after those expenses helps pay for food and vet care for all the other dogs and of course, the multitude of other expenses that come from running a rescue.
