Billy - Yellow Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Okolona, Mississippi

Age: 2
Weight: 36lbs
Adoption donation $599

Billy is a loyal best friend. When she's not playing with the other dogs, she's by your side asking for hugs and is always up for a game of fetch. She is very sweet and would be a great family dog.

Billy was found as a starving stray wandering the highway in Mississippi in the middle of winter. She was with her friend who has already been adopted. Now Billy is waiting for her chance to find her family.

Billy is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home.

She has a beautiful golden coat, and a smile that lights up the room! Billy has been spayed and vaccinated.
She will make a wonderful member of the family.

A little about Wags and adoption fees: The woman who runs Wags takes care of almost 200 dogs completely on her own, she finds stray dogs constantly and find it impossible to turn them away.
Wags is a licensed nonprofit, a 501 C3. Adoption fees are the only source of funding for Wags and help pay for the vaccines, microchip spay/neuter and the transport from Mississippi for the lucky dogs who get posted for adoption and fine loving homes. What little is left after those expenses helps pay for food and vet care for all the other dogs and of course, the multitude of other expenses that come from running a rescue.
Almost all of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. Sometimes were able to bring up dogs into a foster home in the northeast, we always need foster homes!
