Flora is a sweet and loving girl who loves to run around and explore, those big ears flopping in the breeze! Flora would love to be your hiking partner.
Flora is a little shy at first, but after the first treat and pet, she'll quickly warm up to you.

Flora was found in Mississippi, skinny and abandoned on the side of the road after hunting season. She was found with her best buddy and likely her sibling, Fern.

Flora is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has been spayed and fully vaccinated and is a healthy girl.

She has a beautiful tricolor coat, and ears that flop in the wind when she runs! She is a very loving dog who will make a wonderful member of the family.


A little about Wags and adoption fees: The woman who runs Wags takes care of almost 200 dogs completely on her own, she finds stray dogs constantly and find it impossible to turn them away.

Wags is a licensed nonprofit, a 501 C3. Adoption fees are the only source of funding for Wags and help pay for the vaccines, microchip spay/neuter and the transport from Mississippi for the lucky dogs who get posted for adoption and fine loving homes. What little is left after those expenses helps pay for food and vet care for all the other dogs and of course, the multitude of other expenses that come from running a rescue.

Almost all of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. Sometimes were able to bring up dogs into a foster home in the northeast, we always need foster homes!
