Meet Astrid — the little Viking princess who is ready for her next adventure!

Inspired by the fearless Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon, our Astrid is a beautiful German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix with a whole lot of brains, energy, and personality packed into her 3-month-old body!

Astrid is smart, eager to learn, and very food motivated, she's not a dragon but we've figured out the best way to train! She's already doing great with her potty training and is learning that good things happen when she makes good choices. She loves puppy puzzles for her meals, enjoys chewing on bones, and has even discovered the joy of a good game of fetch.

Like any young Viking-in-training, Astrid has plenty of energy! She loves to run, play, explore, and especially be part of whatever her people are doing. She absolutely loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs, too. She currently lives in a home with adults, dogs, and older elementary/middle school children. She would thrive with an active family who wants to continue teaching her new things and give her plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and mental stimulation.

At bedtime, Astrid may give you a little protest when first going into her crate—but she settles down quickly and sleeps through the night once she's comfortable. With more consistency she's bound to learn that the crate is actually a great place to be.

Astrid is the kind of puppy who is going to be an incredible companion with continued training, patience, and lots of love. She's clever, playful, affectionate, adventurous, and ready to find her very own family! Could you be her forever adventure buddy?

Astrid's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.
