Rue is a Husky / German Shepherd mix, born 7/22/24, about 45 lbs, and spayed. She’s the kind of dog who loves deeply, plays hard, and somehow makes everyone she meets fall for her.

Since being in foster, Rue has absolutely blossomed. She loves car rides and has quickly become a bit of a social butterfly—joining her foster family for brunch, dinner, and drinks at some of Knoxville’s favorite spots. She’s turning into quite the little foodie and patio pup, soaking up attention everywhere she goes.

Her housetraining is well established, and she walks beautifully on a harness—she’s more than ready to hit the greenways and be your adventure buddy.

Rue’s previous family loved her very much but made the difficult decision to surrender her when their older dog began struggling with her. They wanted Rue to have a safe, happy environment where she could truly thrive—and she’s proving every day just how wonderful she is.
