Meet Tater
Tater is a 6 month old neutered shepherd mix weighing 50 pounds of sweetness, softness, and puppy charm. With his gentle eyes and tender personality, he's the kind of boy who quietly works his way right into your heart.
Tater can take a moment to settle in, but he opens up quickly, especially around other dogs. He is very submissive, gentle, and thrives in the company of canine friends. Because of this, he would do best in a home with other dogs to help him feel confident and continue blossoming.
He has a medium playful, wiggly puppy energy and enjoys playing while still having that soft, easygoing nature. He shares toys nicely and is just an all around good boy.
Tater does well in his kennel and is currently learning leash skills. With a little patience and guidance, he's going to grow into an amazing, well rounded companion.
He arrived as an unclaimed stray, but he's ready to leave that behind and find a loving home where he can feel safe, build confidence, and finally know what it means to be truly loved.
A home with a yard and other dogs would be a dream for Tater, giving him space to play and friends to learn from.

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us!
We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications!
We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
